K-1, Vancouver Consulate, and I-134

I have another question regarding this topic. On the new I-134, it doesn't state that you need 3 years of tax returns. Is this still needed in Vancouver? I was going to get tax transcripts from the IRS just in case.

Jen, yes .. Vancouver asked us for 3 years.

Vancouver laughed when I said 3 yrs. They only wanted one. They also laughed at the bank letters. Said it was overkill.

Well .. Laugh or not but Aug. 2nd/06 Vancouver Emailed me and said exactly this :

" Along with I-134, your fiancé is required to complete OF-167 form, included in your packet, also we are enclosing a copy with this email and he must provide his employment letter, bank statements and last three years tax returns. If any additional information is required, consular officer will advise you on the day of your interview. Thank you. "

If they thought 3 years of tax returns was a joke i doubt they would ask for them If anyone has any doubt they should deffinatly email and ask for themselves it is always better to be safe then sorry
