I see.

But still they should ask everyone the same amount of questions.

not just ask some 3.and others more. Why ask the questions if you are going to reject them anyways.

Anyways she is upset now. she thinks that she has bad luck.

I have to conveince her to go with the CR-1 and not give up.

Anyways I think the CR-1 is better in the long run.

Just I have to exsplain it to her.

About the proof of joint ownership. I dont own my house my parents do.

is there any other thing we can use?

Thanks,

Craig!!

Does the Denied K-1 hurt my chances of getting the CR-1?

I hope next time I will accompany her for the interview.

No, not at all.

When you get ready to file the I-130, I suggest you front load the petition with 'proof of bonafide marriage' evidence. It's covered in the instructions for the I-130, and here's what I did, ages past -> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry3324240

Written evidence of communication is important but I expect it's the interview she failed. Also, if you only made one trip to China for a week, that works against you. The strongest evidence of a bona fide relationship is the time you spend together. Second to that is interview preparation. Your fiancee or spouse needs to know the kinds of things about you, your family, your job and your life that they would know if they were already here with you. Don't count on emails, chat logs and phone records to save the day. They are important but secondary.

Hey guys.

I talked with my fiance these days.

Is it possible to apply another K1?

Because I will come back to China in april. we will take about 1,000 photos.

So is it possible to apply again.?

Thanks Craig!!

Of course, it's possible. If you can arrange it though, it's just a better idea to marry when you're there and take the spouse visa route.

I ask this question on the site CFL, Candle for Love. CFL is for people applying for China Visas. We were denied K1 29 December 09. I ask on CFL if anyone had just applied again for k1 after denial. There was no replys to yes. Most said better to Marry and apply CR1. Later one person did post that they were denied K1, applied again in a very short time, had another interview in 7 months and got Visa. I am going to China in March, get married , and then apply CRl in April. I now wish I had applied for K1 on 1 January. Would possible have an interview July or August. Now it will be who knows how long for an Interview. I too only had 1 trip of 3 weeks to China, My Girl missed on one question as to what my former job title was in 1994. Good Luck............

Guys

Just an added thought here.. I know very little about China, but I tried to get married here in Colombia, and one of the things I had trouble with was providing documentation to meet the requirement to get married in Colombia.. One of the things that Colombian Officials wouldn't accept was my birth certificate.. Seemed insane, but the Birth Certificate I had was valid in the USA, but they wouldn't accept it in Colombia. So just be sure you get a good handle on the requirements for getting married there in her country... I know the laws there may be diferent there

Best of Luck man! I am really sorry to hear you go through this..

Kenny

I find it very hard to believe that this would carry any weight in the CO's decision.

Hey Audy -

I don't find it hard to believe, at all ! It's not the content of the question, it's the TACTIC of the shift of questions.

But then, I'm not you.

In the meantime -

GUZ VOs are used to shifting the interview to 'handle fraud', quickly.

USUALLY, they will want to 'shift the interview' because of a SCANT casefile (ya know - the first thing YOU put in the mail, ya? )

They will find something wrong or missing in the casefile, so the 'interview' is shifted.

I'm sorry, for you, and on your behalf - that YOU NOT KNOW THIS.

Things could change, you could LEARN IT, maybe. One could hope? Even I could hope, that you'd learn something. Well, wait.. not you. anyone else BUT you. Incredulity sucks, on all levels.

GUZ is not the only Consulate/Embassy that does this. I am incredulous that you not know that, as well.

As I have stated, that is not the real reason for the denial. It is the pretext for the denial, but not the underlying reason. Your naivete leads you far afield.

Oh (insert word here). I don't even have my NOA2(which even with RFE I think I can overcome) but the interview scares me to death because I didn't frontload the application enough. I heard that you can bring more to the interview, but if they already decide before you bring this info, omg I should have just waited until my 3rd trip to submit the first part...
