So after interview and if things go well, what comes next? How long does it take to get visa in hand so plane ticket can be bought and he can come to the US? What is that whole process like and what should I expect?

Essentially, were trying to plan things out with his job, and money wise. When we get an interview date, is it possible he can come back with me at that time, or?

Atsleumas - After the interview, if approved, he leaves his passport and you wait for the visa - some get it in 3 days, some three weeks - it's Jamaica, no accounting for time!

Most advise not to buy the ticket until you have the visa in hand - after the visa is given, he has a period of time in which to use it (I think 6 months?) - so if you need to price shop flights, give notice at work, etc.... I would do that all after the visa is in hand

Thanks Sus... I was silly thinking it might be possible to get it same day! So do they notify you by email, phone, etc when it is ready?

Check with Bunz or Dens - It is sent through DHL, and you either pick it up (most choose this) or they deliver it - people are calling to see if it is ready, there is a # for DHL -

Ok! Thanks again for your response to me
