Hi All, I'm almost in the same situation but i still have my job. I just want to know what will be the consequence if i leave my job before the interview has its starting to cause issues keeping in touch with my wife. I've getting really busy that im hardly getting online to talk to her, or call or over the phone. My suggestion is that, since my interview is coming up sometime March i should leave the work to have enough time for my wife and preparation. My wife is really feeling bad about my commitment to work these days. Anyway idea or response will be great for me.

Thanks

Don't worry! It will have no impact on your visa approval. I was unemployed at the time of my interview (technically I was still a student because I was pursuing a second Bachelor's degree).

I was in a different situation - studying, not working - but I went on a Leave of Absence from school during the whole time we were waiting to have our I-129F petition approved and right until I had my visa interview. I never went back to school. ^__^;;

Well i don't work now since june 23 2009 , since at that date i went to visit my wife ,and i have to quit my job, since my employer did not want to approve my leave off absence,,.

While i was in visit here, we got NOA 2 and i decided to stay till all this is done,of course i need to find sponsor, and i find two , that are my parent, i dont think this will be a problem at interview.
