Hi guys and gals,

Finally my wife was interviewed two weeks ago after filing I-485 as she came here on K-3 and today she got the green card in her mail. We were told that she would need to file a petition to remove the condition for condtional residency. There are some info on back of the little brochure in which the green card was placed in the envelope. And, in those instructions under the "Employment Authorization Card" heading it says that, "Unless otherwise endorsed, your green card cannot be used to renter the United States."

Does this mean she cannot come back to USA on this card if she has to travel overseas? She cannot file the petition to remove the condition for conditional residency until April 2008.

Response would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

That is a standard letter that they use to attach many diffrent types of card....

You wife's Greencard is good for work and travel.... and yes you must file 90 days before the expiry date to have the conditions removed....

Kezzie

Ok, thanks a lot Kezzie.

Cheers :)
