grain bagel with turkey & provolone for lunch ...

yea ... i broke down traveled across houston to buy a bakers dozen of decent bagels sunday morning ...

note: the stupid idiot behind the counter tried to tell me 11 is a bakers dozen ... we disagreed ... the manager agreed with me .. oh well

Where was that? There's a place right by me that has great bagels...although I have never tried to order a bakers' dozen, so I don't know if they are idiots or not.

einstiens ... about a 25 minute drive (needed to get out of the house ... cabin fever)

the selection is hit or miss ... was able to get the stinky bagels for isa (chopped garlic & everything).

made them put those in a separate bag so as not to contaminate the others

NY Bagel in Meyerland is good. I will try out Einsteins, and compare.

I am anti-Einstein's - and I never suggested them to you - soooooooooooooo - you've not hit the bagel places I've mentioned yet.

I'm still waiting - there might be some bbq in it for me ;)

Anyone ever had the cinnamon crunch bagels from Panera? Those things rock, especially with hazelnut cream cheese. :D

Unfortunately, no Panera Bread here in East Texas either. :(

We have a Panera down the road but I never go there...

too many mom & pop bagel shops that blow those Panera bread shops out of the water.

You're lucky on that. ;) I'm not even sure where one would get a sucky bagel around here, much less a good one. ;)

I'm not sure where you're located, but I think it'd be a good business opportunity to open one in say...Florida. Look at how many Canadians go to Florida on vacation!! I think it'd make a killing!

(sits here & thinks...re-location to FL??)

Charlotte, NC area for the timebeing. It might not be such a bad idea, :P

I was on the Tim's web site ( I was really curious) & it said "total initial investment will typically vary between approximately $409,200 and $665,700".

How long do ya think it would take to make that back? hahaha
