does anyone know of any good airline sites? also i heard that there is some countries in europe that wont allow peopel to come thru on k-1 visas and will send them back, anyone know of this and if so what those counties are? is germany or italy one of those countries? thanks for any help you can give me.

You may want to avoid airfare.com, or at least read the reviews on them for yourself before you use them.. I've heard Kayak is good..

I will look into kayak for flights for Amman, are you moving to casa for good or just wait for the visa approval? sounds so exciting for everyone!!!

My fiance just bought his ticket at the airport.. Royal Air Maroc is having really good rates right now like 800 to new york then get a ticket from new york to your city.. That was the best price for us anyways

My fiance just bought his ticket at the airport.. Royal Air Maroc is having really good rates right now like 800 to new york then get a ticket from new york to your city.. That was the best price for us anyways

we looked into that, but it only leaves a 2 1/2 hour layover for getting thru customs, collecting bags and getting to next flight to check in for it

we're just going waiting for visa approval, but I haven't even sent the petition out yet (going out on the 1st), so it's gonna be a little extended.. It will be almost a year to the day since I arrived there last year.. 11 months since we've seen each other, and he's never met his daughter sooo... we're PUMPED!!! :dance: just a little worried about getting a residency card, because of my income situation.. :P bribes will be paid, for sure.. :wacko:

NVC Received : 09/08/09

NVC Left : 09/09/09 per NVC (called 9/11/09 and they told me it was sent!)

Consulate Received : 9/11/09

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Interview Date: 12/03/09

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Visa in Hand!

Well, I don't have any info on Morocco specifically but my husband flew from Algeria to Minneapolis in July. I would expect his experience to be similar. He flew Air Algerie from Algiers to Paris and then Delta from Paris to Minneapolis. We used skymiles for the Delta portion and paid about $350 for the Air Algerie ticket. Absolutely no problems in Paris. Their website actually says that those travelling to or from the United States, with valid visas in their passports, do not require a transit visa as long as they stay in the terminal.

Try looking at the airline websites because often times they have good fare sales that are better than the big flight search engines.
