Why should the GOP vote for an agenda that's been largely unsuccessful and unpopular so far? It would be stupid of the Republicans to be identified with a Congress and White House at this point. You'd think the so-called "smart" party of the Democrats controlling all the major branches of government and many states and cities would come up with more than green jobs and a botched healthcare reform.

Judging by Obama's speech last night, he didn't learn anything so we can expect much of the same. If you like the direction we're going great. If you don't like it, you got no choice with one party running everything. The end result- somehow the GOP is always to blame.

The GOP's strategy is clearly to obstruct Obama at any cost, even if it means taking down the entire country. Yes, that is the game that is unfortunately being played during the worst crisis post depression. Yes, at a time that the country's wealth has been damaged significantly.

The botched healthcare is the current system that repubs champion on daily. I particularly enjoyed the "World class healthcare" comment during the Republican response. World class? Based on what? You rank also last in every international survey and that was before the recession. You ain't world class at anything anymore period. The country is freagin bankrupt yet you want even less government. The Chinese government must be laughing all the way to the bank. Literally as they own your azz.

Much in the same way Matt85 still fails to show one single real world example supporting his ideology, I am yet to see one example of less government leading to a prosperous nation; certainly not in 2009 or 2010. Quite the contrary actually. Communist now own $2.4 trillion USD dollars (cash) and you now owe them $800 billion on top of that, yet you still refuse to concede you lost. Sounds a lot like General Lee who refused to admit his strategy was flawed. Even when he was losing, he just kept on sendind in good men to their deaths; using the same flawed strategy.

You need a lesson in government my friend. Clearly the likes of Rush and co are not teaching people how the most efficient government works. Hint: It's not less government.

PS Danno did you see my challenge in the other thread? Who do you think is doing better and has a much much higher standard of living? The 150 million+ or the 10 million. Now interject some republican mentality and doesn't that mean that those 150 million people are losers? After all, does it not say something that 150 million people cannot even compete with a measly 10 million?
