Hey there Yardies!

Hubby and I have had a pretty tought year or so but none the less we have just mailed off the I-130 for his daughter in Mo Bay, she is 15. We decided that waiting for him to have a job might be too long to wait for a 15 year old girl to be in a proper household.

Has anyone gone through the Consulate in Kingston with a child immigration recently? I know everyone has a different experience however I'd like to hear from some of you as to what I can expect. More so with processing time and any other wonderful tips that you can give me. We are hoping that everything will be as smooth as his was and she'll be here in time for school at the end of August.

Thanks so much! Hope all is well with everyone.

I just went through this with my children.DH filed for them - his stepsons.I sent in the I-130 in May and was In NVC by August. I had a Dec 16th interview and the kids have been here two weeks now.I did the process my self and this site was very helpful to me, so if you have any questions, I would be happy to guide you along the way. The Wiki Guide is a blessing!
