No. There is no way to work legally on a tourist visa. You entered on a B2 visa--meaning you're a tourist and your sole purpose is to visit the U.S. After your trip you are to return home.

No, a tourist visa holder cannot hold any kind of emplyment and he does and is caught will be deported and banned for several years.

if your friend's employer doesn't know that he is just a tourist and hires your friend anyway,he could be legally liable

or his employer could abuse your friend too by not giving him the proper salary etc

the legal way is to go home before his tourist visa expires and apply for a working visa.

Not worth the trouble and consequences. You have to adjust to a status that allows employment authorization. Your current status disallows working without authorization.
