Is it acceptable to write just one statement of intent to marry and we both sign it? Thinking of having a JP notarize when I go to JA next month, which should add as proof of having physically met.

Best wishes on your journey. We each did a letter of intent to marry...so not sure about your first question.

As for proof of having physically met, I included copies of my boarding passes from all my trips there.

Yes, both letters can say the same thing, there is a sample on here in the guides - It should be two separate letters.

I agree, both can say basically the same thing....you might need to swap names. But, there needs to be 2 seperate letters.

And as for proof of having pictures, pictures and more pictures.....with receipts, passport stamps, plane tix, etc. to back them up.

Definitely pictures...I made an album of our pics from my various trips there for the interview so the CO could look through it!

Use the example letter on here and just don't forget to change the names, but also the 'upon MY entry' for your letter and 'upon HER entry' on his...
