we didn't file DCF, but it took about 2 weeks to get packet 4 after my husband sent packet 3. hope that helps.

Hany, if packet 3 is the envelope that contains the visa application, Affidavit of Support form(s), medical info., etc., then there is no packet 4 - it's straight on to the beneficiary's interview.

Yup that's right .Once the embassy got the packet 3 they review all the documents and after they make sure that everything is ok .they will will send the the interview letter .

some people get the packet 4 a week after they sent their packet 3 and some people got the packet 4 a month after they sent the packet 3 .

It depends on if they have time on their schedule interview .

Yeah it sounds like they done and they completed their review .and now they are trying to find you an interview date .and i hope it will be soon .

I never heard of the interview letter referred to as packet 4.

The Embassy interview schedule web page is here. As you can see, a lot of interviews are done in Cairo, and along with the holidays just finishing, it's certainly possible there's a wait for an interview. Are you asking if the can call a Vodaphone mobile? Sure they can. But the interview letter will still be on paper, although if the Embassy's web site is updated (and this is not done daily), you may see your own interview date there before you receive your letter. There's nothing wierd about it, it's just the process.

Maybe they are waiting any interview to be cancelled or waiting for vodafone to finish making appointments so they can begin their work maybe ....
