Keep editing. You're not fast enough.

What's to edit? The comment was generally speaking. Or are you saying you fall in this category?

It is unacceptable to insult VJ members' family as well as to insult VJ members. Offending posts and posts quoting same have been removed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

so shallow. so australian.

yes, they must all be hollow and shallow republicans, right?

My take on this: I don't think it's right to lie about anything, I'm all for the truth. But the truth of the matter is that some countries really don't want to donate anything, you call it selfish, shallow etc. not true. Most of the people in that country have travelled to the places the Robin Hoods of the world want them to donate to, they have a better understanding of the people and the culture they're dealing with and have decided that it's best not to donate because it will make No diffference, but far worse probably only worsen those peoples lives down the line. So they bow down to peer pressure and say they will donate X amount to keep the Robin Hoods of the world STFU'd but then they donate diddly squat, they know that money will be far better put to use down under than anywhere else, rightly so in my opinion.

This thread is about countries who pledge (i.e. talk) but don't deliver. Do try to not turn every thread into a monologue on your pet beliefs.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
