Congrats to you and your husband HisGirl! :)

What a short AP for Montreal! I guess in the end they realized there was no compelling reason not to issue you the visa. This will definitely help some people in the future.

lol yep. We are both floored.

Since my interview he has been at the law library every night looking up waivers and cases where the petitioner has had a lengthy criminal history and have been approved. In the face of pretty much being denied, he never gave up hope and always had belief in us :)
