Consulate hasn't recieve package??

Ok so I've read somewhere that you can go on to DHL and see when your case left the NVC. So I did and according to them the package was recieved on the 31st of Dec. I called the NVC around the 27th of Dec and they told me that my case was transferred to CDJ on the 24th of Dec.

So because we haven't heard nor recieved anything I called the DOS and they told me that my file was sent to CDJ BUT they haven't recieved it?? Should I be worried because let me tell you that I'm freaking out thinking that maybe they've lost it and we've only got until April for the approval notice.

Sorry I'm just going on and on.....is this normal??

For everyone's benefit - the DHL tracking scheme you're referring to doesn't show any individual's package being sent nor delivered. These are bulk-shippings from NVC to respective Embassies/Consulate and there is no way to know if your individual file is in any particular shipment. (In other words - it doesn't help much if at all.)

OP - I wouldn't worry - try to relax and let the process work for you (I know that's easier said than done but hang in there...)

Thanks like you said that's easier said than done. However, the next question is what about our approval notice its says its only valid until April of 2010?

The embassy will extend your petition if you do not get interview before then. Worst case you just contact them before it expires and ask them to extend it. From what i have read here most all embassy's just do it automatically if they need to.
