All I know is that as long as you have authorisation to work then you're good to go. As far as all the other 'gumph' involved, I would direct you to the BE board for a broader outlook to all those things. If you're not already familiar with them, they're not just fiance or marriage based visas so all sorts of expats are hanging around there including ones who work for their UK companies while residing in the US. Hope that makes sense!

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

September 2008 - US passport delivered!

 Have signed up on BE, and left instructions via email to hubby on going there and asking about all of this. Since I am not a British Expat nor will I be, figure it is best left up to him! :P

It isn't official yet, as in no contract signed. Tim's office has been in contact with an American office where he will be employed through. As of yesterday they still did not have a contract from the U.S office, so they told him they would draw one up for him as soon as possible.

He is headed down to London today to do some instructing, and will also have a meeting with a senior director to sort out some more details of this position. I wish they would just say what it entails, instead of dragging it on giving a bit of information here and there. The good thing is no matter what, the tax situation will be better since he will be employed by a local office.

Good news on the job front, ticket is purchased for September 1, now all we need is a "visa approved" on Friday. To much good news lately, now makes me worry about Friday lol.
