It is Sunny Day out here in Chicago.. But freezing..

I am trying to be optimistic and tell myself that soon will get an interview.

I just wonder what happened to the US embassy in Amman. 2010 started with slow slow slow response from Amman, they are not even answering emails, or ignoring the questions in the email.

I had questions in regard to expiring NOA2 and Packet 3, and it is been a week since my last email, yet nothing on their part.

DOS tells me the only note, that embassy will contact once they schedule an interview..

How can one contact the Ambassador?? Someone mention there was a change in the embassy.. Well it does not seem it is a Great change..

Hi, I am not sure but is there any days off or holidays right now in Jordan? I know a lot of schools are on a winter break and anytime there is a holiday the embassy is close. I hope you get a response soon!

I have never found the Amman embassy to be quick or very helpful...but that has been my experience.

I will say that the I did get quick responses on my last two emails. I emailed them on Saturday night and had a response by the time that I woke up Sunday morning. I only email them every three or four weeks and the rest of the time, I call DOS.

I was reading through the VJ timelines and they have only issued two visas since May...that is a long time. I don't know what is going on over there, but I wish that they would start finishing up these cases and reunite everyone. I hope the reason is that they are understaffed. Taking months to do doc checks is insane.

The embassy isn't closed...here is this years holiday schedule. The (A) American holidays and the (N) is the Jordanian holidays.

New Year's Day (A) Thursday, December 31

Martin Luther King's Birthday (A) Sunday, January 17

I was trying to see if i can get a lawyer in Jordan.

Today the lawyer informed me he cannot get it processed faster... and he mention right now the que will put me either end of march or april.

That is real helpful...by that time I will be dead or at a mental hospital
