Does I-134 for fiancee visa need to be notarized?

Hello guys,

I was a bit confused.. I saw from other requirements that the i-134 need to be notarized but on other post, the new i-134 doesn't need to be notarized.. What did you guys do?

Used to (old form) require notarization but not any more (not for quite some time now).

Hi! We had our I-134 notarized but we filed last year (February 2009).

I just checked the USCIS website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

It says:

You must sign Form I-134 in your full name. (Note: Signing Form I-135 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law). For this reason,

it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarize after you sign it
