Can I go with my wife for the Interview?

Hello all,

I am a USC. Can I go with my wife for the interview at US consulate, Chennai? Do they let me go with her?

Could you please share your experience?

Most of the embassies I know allow the USC spouse to be their spouse during the interview,

When I had my interview in Riyadh, there were 3 applicants whose accompanied by their spouse, so defenitely they do allow that.

Actually, the Chennai website is unclear. It recommends you keep to a minimum but doesn't limit you:

Call/email the embassy and ask. Mumbai doesn't allow USC petitioners in.

I read the reviews and it looks like Chennai does let spouses to the interview. I am planning to be there for my wife's interview.

I thought of sharing my experience here. Chennai consulate didnt let me (USC) go inside with my wife for the IR1 interview They said it should have been mentioned with the application.
