Your President too. And I have no one to ask those questions.

Dude, there is zero logic in me hiding citizenship.

I once thought about it but refuse to pledge to the US or a constitution I don't agree with.

There is plenty of logic in hiding your citizenship. You'd be quite the hypocrite if it came out, wouldn't you?

Wrong. If I was a citizen, my opinion would carry more weight here, as people are much more inclined to listen to a citizen's point of view. Well certainly the case in the US.

Nothing wrong with it either, however, it's just not for me.

You would be considered a major hypocrite since you spent 3 years bashing the US everyday and then became a citizen.

Fail. It would actually reinforce my concern for the country.

Anyways, I have never bashed the US, just pointed out things that others are now doing much better. Something the country could learn from. The problem is actually within you. Guys like yourself have not been raised to accept or hear the reality that others are doing better. After all, it's unAmerican! Your generation was focused on rights and Russia. You prefer to ignore others success in 2010 and continue erroneously beating on about the US being the best, without any evidence of it, but merely because you say so; because it's what you have been indoctrinated since birth.

As I said, you would appear to be a hypocrite, hence your denial. I am well aware of my reality.

Back to the Toyota issues, this is an unprecedented action for sure..... Responsible? Yes.. Potentially damaging to the rep? Quite possible.....

Glad that I own an Acura.... Seriously though, this is the right call by Toyota, as opposed to listening to the "actuaries", in terms of potential lawsuit payout...But then again, maybe they did.....

It is a most responsible action, supposedly requested by Washington. I personally doubt it was done out of the goodness of their corporate heart. Damage control.

US automakers would have denied it for years, with the truth only coming out after a massive class-action lawsuit. After all, it's the way they rolled for years.

This is a honest mistake by Toyota and their supplier, rather than some cover-up known from the design stage. They did the honest thing and put safety before profits.

Again, I feel that based upon a risk/benefit analysis, in the way that all corporations operate, they chose the path of least resistance. It does however, give the perception of corporate responsibility and perhaps that was a mitigating factor for reputation perseverance..... Toyota is a good company with great product.... No point in sandbagging themselves....
