Captioned, you mean writing something on the back of the pictures? If so, we have quite a few with both of her and my family. Thanks!

The W2 is only part of a tax return. The best practice is to provide three complete tax returns but always provide at least one.

If your income alone is sufficient, I would do a new I-134 and leave blank all asset related information. Also hang onto all the asset supporting documents. No need to give them more than they need.

Cool, I have three years worth of tax return along with transcripts, and I think my income is enough for them.

Anyway, what is the potential negative impact of giving them more than what they are asking for?

That the visa is delayed because they ask for further or different supporting documentation. Disclosing assets is optional when income is sufficient. The I-134 doesn't mention this but the I-864 does. I would redo the affidavit without the asset information, at least all of it beside what is documented in a bank letter.

OK, I deleted "Other personal property", "Stock and bonds", "life insurance", " cash surrender value". How about "real estate", which is also my home where I live and she will be living? Should I blank out the value, mortgage amount and address?

Thanks again!

Unless you're presenting an appraisal and mortgage statement, simply edit out the asset information in the PDF and print a new I-134.

Sorry for a semi-hijack, but on that note, do you think that for a cosponsor who is retired but meets the income requirements in taxable income, should he also provide asset information, or just leave it blank as well? Particularly if the taxable income is mostly from stock investments?

I was planning to submit about as much as JRSmooth for my cosponsor.

For passive income, yes, I would submit asset information and supporting documentation. For earned income, no.

OK, since I am presenting a mortgage statement (or, should I say it is a mortgage bill), but not an appraisal, I will edit out the house as my asset.

In other words, I am only going to disclose my income, which is all salary ($100K+ for 2009), and the cash in the bank, which is $15K, and nothing else, on the section of I-134 but will have statement of all sort ready, I should be fine right? Sorry for the questions, just want to be safe than sorry.

Thank you "pushbrk" again for your insights!

With a more than adequate salary, I would retreat to my original recommendation which is to leave all asset sections blank. If you have an issue, it will not be financial.
