Thank you to everyone here at VJ for all your help. I got CR-1 for my husband in 1 day. (Fiji Embassy)

Now my question is: Can I book him a 1 way ticket instead of purchasing a return ticket?

8-12-2004 I moved to New Zealand(married my Kiwi in US 5/04)

1-12-2006 Received initial packet - It has I-130, I-864 & DS-230 Part 1, DS-2001 & tons of instructions.

Gathering paperwork that we don't have:

5-30-2006 - I-130 FILED AND ACCEPTED BY AUCKLAND CONSULATE!- INTERVIEW: 6/13/2006

6-13-2006 - APPROVED!usaCa.gifnew_zeaC3.gif

6-14-2006 - VISA IN HAND D_SMIL112.gif

08-05-2006 -WE ARE HOME IN THE USA!!! flag12.gif

THREE HAPPY YEARS LATER:

5-10-09 - N-400 filed

9-14-09 - Naturalization Oath Ceremony

Be sure that a one way ticket is cheaper than a roundtrip because, usually a roundtrip is cheaper

That sounds strange but check it by yourself

September 14, 2006 Philippe's J-1 visa expires

October 5, 2006 Married at City Hall

AOS Process

October 14, 2006.....I-130/I-485/I-765 FedExed

October 20, 2006.....NOA for I-130 and I-485

October 24, 2006.....Biometrics appointment scheduled

November 2, 2006.....RFE: tax returns requested

November 16, 2006.....Biometrics appointment

January 18 2007.....Requested tax returns submitted

February 5, 2007.....EAD received!! (these people move fast!)

February 23, 2007.....Interview scheduled

April 9, 2007.....INTERVIEW -- all seemed to go well

End of April 2007.....Greencard
