Hey there. The old Oregon thread is archived on the old forum now!

Hello from a fellow Oregonian :)

"We are the real countries,

Not the boundaries drawn on maps,

With the names of powerful men.

That's all I've wanted -

To walk in such a place with you,

On an earth without maps."

Hey there,

we will be coming back to Hillsboro Oregon once I got the visas for me and my son probably around October.

We are here at the moment to be with my man for 3 weeks.

Lived in CA and TX before, but I really like OR a lot.

Will love to come back here and live here with the keeper of my heart.

Nat

the courage to change the things I can

and the wisdom to know the difference!

Hello from Portland

...it's been a while since I last visitted the website.

Anyway updates in our case: We got the AOS approved, they stamped my passport and will send me the green card in 10 days (hopefully everything will continue to go smoothly and it wont disappear in the mail).

I got a job as a interpreter and that's also going well...

The adjustment process keeps going... it gets better everyday, and Seth and I are doing wonderfully and happy and grateful for being together

hi lexly!

The staff in the Portland office are so nice! We were there a few times this summer for the DAH's naturalization and I met the District Director and many on his staff (he gave me a tour!).

The questions will be simple for you to answer because they'll be about you two--an easy topic that you know! :)

Just remember that the interviews are very short.. 10 or 15 minutes.... plan a nice lunch date out to celebrate.
