I have a few questions while I prepare for the interview for my 5-year old son to join us here in the US. We have already received our appointment letter for March. I am a green card holder married to a US Citizen. My husband petitioned for my son using the I-130 form:

1. It says in the letter, we need to bring the Medical Exam results to the interview when I thought it is the Medical Center that forwards the results. Will the result be released to me right after the Medical Exam?

2. What are other payment requirements prior to the interview? Do we need to pay anything like Visa Fees before the interview? WE have paid fees here like the I-130, Visa Processing Fees, and the Affidavit of Support fees, are there any more fees we need to pay?

3. Are there any forms that we need to get from the bank like I did when we filed for my I-129F visa?

4. When we will be approved, how long does it usually take before we get the passport with the visa back? The reason I need to know that is so I can plan my trip to the Philippines ahead of time. Or is it safer to just get a one-way ticket to the Phils and get our return tickets once the visa has already been issued?

5. Any tips on how to go through the interview will be highly appreciated.
