For mailing the I-485/I-130/I-765/I-131 package it is mailed to a chicago addess:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4107

For couriers/express deliveries:

USCIS Attn: FBAS 131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I live in downtown Chicago. I was wondering is there a place where I can just hand walk my application in give to the INS office? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

Things are often not considered official in the U.S except if it has a written document somewhere, for a document with this importance to life I will mail it with a delivery confirmation or express mail that has a record.

Hand-carrying will get you nowhere. The Chicago mailroom is not accessible to you and you also probably can't get past USCIS security to enter the building to start with.

Sounds good I'll e-mail. It. If I use U.S. Postal service express delivery do I send it to the second address listed below...or by express do they mean fed-ex/ups type of deliveries?

e-mail it ?

Na - use postal mail or ups/fedex.

You've got the right addresses to use.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
