Hey,

Does any body from Hyderabad,India went to Vijaya Diagnostic center for their medical? If yes,how long they take to give medical report? Will the reports be given to us or forwarded directly to consulate,chennai.

I am in dilemma whether to get the medicals done in Vijaya diagnostic center, Hyderabad or Apollo hospital,chennai.

Please share your experiences.

My wife hasnt done but we are planning to use Hyderabad. Which part of AP are you from? We are planning to get it done in 1st or 2nd week of Feb . I have heard Vijaya diagnostics is a reputed one since it has been around for a while.

9/1/2009: Applied for I-130

9/14/2009: NOA1 for I-130

9/21/2009: NOA1 for I-129F (CSC)

9/25/2009: NOA1 received for I-129F (receipt of mail)

01/08/2010 : Thank you very much Jesus..... NOA 2 129F

01/08/2010 : NOA 2 I-130

01/15/2010 : Embassy gets the approval notice (Awesome..Love K3...so glad we have done K3)

01/20/2010: Embassy schedules interview for K3

02/19/2010: K3 interview over and approved.

My parents went to Vijaya Diagnostic Center in HimayathNagar for their medicals. It is a two day process for most of them. First day they will check Interview Letter, Passport, photos and any other medical documents(vaccinations list)....take blood sample and other necessary tests based on the age and on the next day...based on the report results and the list of vaccinations they will give vaccinations and then the Doctor will give the sealed envelope and this envelope needs to be taken at the time of interview.

My parents praised the Doctor and his staff as they are very friendly and very professional.

The appointment is through emails only. The doctor's details

Hi Raj,

Were you able to get appointments with a short notice? I am not sure how much time I would have after the interview letter arrives and it looks like we cannot schedule the appointment without the interview letter for medical exam.

Also how long did your parents take to get their PCC's? Did you apply for PCC's from Hyderabad?

Yes i got the appointments within short notice even though i had enough time. My parents applied Passport PCC at Hyderabad passport office and they got it within a week. They submitted application form along with a fee, photos and original passport and within a week they got it through courier. They also applied PCC form the local Police Station and got it within few days too.
