So now that we've got our interview date I'm working on my forms for the interview.

On the employement letter that AT&T gives us for employment verification it has my salary at 26k, but at the bottom it says that Part-Time reps salary is based on hours worked, and could be different. I actually brought home 18k.

So which do I put on the affidavit of support? Will it make a difference if my employement letter says something different from what I actually made?

Thanks y'all!!!

That's what I was thinking.

But considering the differences in amounts wouldn't that make my employement letter obselete? I'm still going to include it, but I'm thinking that it's worthless almost.

yes - you need to be honest about what you really made - not an estimate. since you;re providing W2's - they'd see the proof anyway.

Not really, the employment letter confirms that you are still employed to date and hold the position. That's also an important factor to show, along with the actual income made.

My husband's W2 was a bit lower than his employment letter since he had since received a raise between the W2 and when the letter was written.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Well that actually makes a lot of sense now that I'm thinking about it.

I'm still on cloud 9 from getting my interview date so I'm a little loopy!!!

Okay, now I've got another question.

On my mom's affidavit of support that she has to fill out it asks if there are people in the household that are wholly or partially dependant on her. I'm filing taxes on my own this year, but last year I was a dependent.

So am I wholly, partially, or not at all???

Also, on question 3 it is asking about Mathew. It has a part that says "relationship to sponsor". I'm assuming that this is asking what his relationship is to ME, so on her form that she fills out, what would I put for the relationship???

I know these probably have real simple answers, but I'm so unsure.

If you still live with your parents or if they help you out with schooling expenses and stuff, you would be partially dependent.

I didn't want to start a new topic, so I figured that I would just expand this one.

I completely realize that I'm probably over thinking it, but I need some help. I'm filling out my moms I-134 since she will be the co-sponsor for Mathew and:

Question 3 asks who the affidavit is executed for. I'm completely torn. I want to say that it would be me since she's doing this for me, but then I also want to say Mathew since she's co-sponsoring him. Also, part 5 says that she's willing and able to receive, maintain and support the person listed on question 3 so that makes me think it's Mathew again because she wouldn't be supporting me, it's him. So which is it???

And then there's question 10("I have submitted a visa petition to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following person"). Do I leave this blank or put Mathew's name there. Again, I want to say to put None because SHE hasn't submitted for anyone, I have.

Last but not least, question 11. I left mine unchecked and wrote just like in the example forms that it's N/A(k-1 visa process for permanent residence), but for hers should I put N/A( Co-sponsor for K-1 visa process)???

I think I basically just need reassurance on this. I'm leaning in one way but I'm so worried that it'll be wrong that I'm driving myself insane. I spent all day at work googling every combination I could think of and searching the forums but I came up empty handed about it.

Any help would be appreciated.

giving this a little shove. The interview is in 9 days and I DON'T want to mess up over something so simple. The support will be our only hurdle to cross, we have all the other evidence.

Kayla, did you get any answers to your questions?

I dont have any answers to offer, I would just be guessing, but you might get more help on this subject in the Embassy & Consulate forum.

Good luck!
