Hi people...

There was a thread where a whole bunch of us posted the dates to their interviews (which were mostly in July - more exactly this week).

I just wanted to let you know, that ours went pretty welll, totally painless and we got approved. Even though we didnt get passport stamp, she said that the GC will arrive in 7 to 10 days.

It's a relief to be USCIS free for a couple of years!!! :dance::dance:

Our interview yesterday (Wednesday) was a success as well. We did get a stamp in the passport. :dance: You can read the details on our other post.

We also had an interview in July but I have not received information about my approval or case status. the officer stated that our file is in San Francisco and she is waiting for its arrival and she said if it does not arrive, she will base the case on the interview, which was really quick and professional :D

I am keeping my fingers crossed for the results :thumbs::unsure:

had a successfull interview on the 19 of July, and my passport was stamped...still waiting for the green card though...they said 7 to 10 days. Could you all post when you receive your card in the mail....we can compare waiting times :lol::dance:

I got the welcome to america letter...

No GC yet... but it's still day 3 from the interview (im counting working days only)...

Hanging on to the mail box... waiting for the mailman... (or woman..I really dont know)... hehe

Hubby's interview was on 07/20/2006, approved in basically 2 minutes LOL -- approval notice arrives a week later, then the green card the next day (07/28/2006) :D

Note: I checked USCIS's online status for his case and it was updated about 2 days after the interview stating that an approval notice had gone out. I then got an email that said his green card request had been entered and they would mail it as soon as it was made, on 07/24/06 and we got it a few days later.

And we had been all worried because his green card interview was less than a month before we were moving, so were afraid the card would get returned/lost :crying: <-- :P

Pretty speedy process from Detroit AOS, good luck to everyone :)

My interview was July 28th. We were told we were approved. No stamp, but he took my I-94. As of yet, no update and I'm NOT being very good at waiting patiently.

I wish it would hurry up!! :angry:

Approved pending name check. Experience with USCIS to this point makes me think it less likely I will receive my Green Card and more likely I'll be dragged away to Guantanamo Bay by mysterious men in black jumpsuits.
