I will gladly trade you my date on the 30th. As much as I like company.....I could handle being able to get my interview a week earlier!!!

Heyyy, I never said I'd trade, I said they should shareeee! They should move one of theirs to the 23rd. If I have to wait any longer for Mathew to have his interview I'm going to strangle him just for the fun of it. :innocent::lol:

Does everyone have their documents in line???

pretty much aside for a few photocopies left to do. I took a look at the old k1 interview thread from back in Nov, so i have one of those accordian things with 11 pockets stuffed full! i just have to get my last 2 passport pics done, my police check (they said this only takes a week) so i have to do that today.

hey!!! Congrats to all you K1 couples! Wow, Montreal really has picked up the pace! Glad to see it!

:D

Thanks Froggie!! :) I keep double checkign all my stuff to make sure it's ok lol.

When Mathew did his I think it came in in 10 days, which means you've got plenty of time. However, when Maggie_Kenyth went to do hers in her province(interviewing at MTL), they originally told her the wait for those things were over 120 days or something. She ended up having to do something else to get it.

I annoyed Mathew until he went and got it in December. They're good for a year, so I figured why not.

went in today for the police check they told me come back to pick it up on monday and it cost only 40$. there was like 4 other ppl getting them done too. Phew. i think i have everything ready..david will be here the saturday before the interview so we have the weekend to get any last min things photocopies etc done. then the long drive to montreal. i'm almost wondering if it would be better to just take the train but i'm not sure about the price for 2 ppl.i figure its' gonan cost min 100$ on gas.

Saw a big billboard ad for Via advertising $65 Toronto-Montreal. Dunno if that's one way or anything. There's also the $1 Megabus, if you're daring! :D

We did the train vs driving debate, and honestly, cost aside, it was such a good idea to drive. The drive itself is straight-line until you hit Montreal, even scenic, and between two people, it isn't bad. We actually made it there in just over 8hrs from outside Windsor, heh.

The train was extremely expensive, as I recall... and that was disappointing simply because I'd never ridden a train and was kind of looking forward to it. But driving wasn't terrible at all.

Nope, we went straight 401. Left at 8am, had two half hour food breaks, and got there just after 5pm. We, ahem... weren't all that mindful of speed limits.
