OMG OMG!!! ADD ME!! ADD ME!!! I'm so extremely happy!! I also have an interview for March 30th! yaaaaa!!!

AOS

03-30-10: Montreal Interview

04-09-10: K1 Visa Received

04-17-10: US Entry (Toronto Pearson Airport to Peoria, Illinois)

06-12-10: Married the love of my life!!

06-25-10: Mailed I-485, I-765, I-131 petitions to Chicago Lockbox

07-01-10: NOA1

07-30-10: Case transferred to California Service Center

08-03-10: Biometrics in Naperville, IL

08-21-10: AP approved

08-28-10: Received AP

08-30-10: EAD approved

09-01-10: Received EAD

09-20-10: Green card approved!!

09-25-10: Green card recieved!!!!

It is interesting to see all the dates are Tuesdays. So much for the Friday-only interviews in Montreal.

I've been looking at the timelines to get a better idea of when we could possibly hope for an interview. I still can't make sense of of everything going on between VCS and CSC. For those of us that filed in September, our VSC applicants have about a 6-week difference in getting their NOA2's faster compared to the CSC filers and the same goes with NVC. I'm hoping that holds true and means we're only 6-weeks behind you for interviews.

And then there are several VCS's with May and June dates for filling the I-129F that are just getting their interview dates. It is such a shame that some folks have been waiting 300+ days and are now going to wind up paying the increased fees like the rest of us.

Despite my Debbie Downer comment... I couldn't be happier for those of you just finding out your dates!!! Seriously!!! What are you waiting for??? Hurry the hell up and let us join you!!! :D

OMG OMG...my fiance just called me to tell me that our interview is March 22 at 8 am!!!! Please add me to the list and if anyone else is booked that day it would be great to meet up!!!

Oct 30, 2002 - We met in Toronto while he was visiting on a business trip from the US

Dated until early 2004 and then distance became an issue

Sept 16, 2007 - He initiated contact with me after almost 4 years!

Jan 2008 - He came to Toronto to visit and see if there was still 'something' there

Feb 28, 2009 - He proposed in front of my family in our condo in Toronto!!!

May 13, 2009 - sent in I-129F (Lawyer is handling our process)

May 15, 2009 - received receipt of NOA1

September 16, 2009 - NOA2!!!

Nov 4/09 - sent packet 3

Nov 25/09 - info logged in system

Interview date - March 22, 2010!!! ***APPROVED!!!***

POE @ Queenston/Lewiston - April 4th, 2010

Wedding date - July 17, 2010

Congratulations - and good luck, everybody! Looks like there's going to be a big VJ party at the Montreal Consulate on the 30th. You guys should all try to go out and celebrate together.
