well it's possible..david and i are staying at le dauphin, and i'm not sure when we are getting into montreal. 9 hour drive or so from Windsor.

I'm already getting nervous. David is on his way here from Chicago now, and we'll be going over the paperwork he is bringning to see what needs to be added to my (feel like it's almost 8 lbs) folder. i'm thinking my 7 tab according folder is just not big enough.

I'm not telling you to eliminate something you think you need, because I recognize much of what we all bring to the consulate is helpful with peace of mind. Based on what we went through today, your 7 tab accordian folder is enough. I broke ours up like this: (1) prior submissions and correspondence in chronological order, (2) passports and birth certificate, (3) medical, (4) new letter of intent, (5) domicile evidence, (6) affidavit of support with evidence, (7) miscellaneous (money, xpresspost, pictures as proof of ongoing relationship, passport photos).

We gambled on proof of an ongoing relationship, because honestly I thought that me standing next to him wearing an engagement ring and taking an oath should be proof enough. We brought 15 photos of us taken since the 129 was filed. I can't say that was right or wrong - they never asked to see our evidence, so it worked for us. I copied/brought my deed, my voter's registration card, and my utility bills to prove domicile - they never asked about it. In fact, once I (the USC) got upstairs, they never asked me to even identify myself - not even when I took the oath in the interview.

My point is take anything you think you need, but don't break your back carrying it because you'll spend 50X more time organizing/gathering it than they'll spend looking at it.

One more point for March 30th interviews - one thing we didn't expect was how tired we would be today after the interview. We were done so early that I thought we'd get a full day of sightseeing in, not so much because we were both exhausted.

I agree with the tiredness thing. Mathew and I were so exhausted after our interview that we came straight home(20 minute drive, lol) and went straight to sleep. We didn`t wake up until 4 that evening. It was so mentally and physically exhausting that I still don`t think I`ve really recovered.

Thanks for the advice

So far we have a copy of the entire i129f petition, and all originals that go with it. All correspondence from uscis, nvc, lawayer, congress, including all NOID stuff and original noa's.

(OH ya!!! ...went thought the stuff laywer sent us..and he never gave uscis all the ####### we told him to, AND he told us we got a simple RFE..turns out it was an NOID...good thing i did not know that earlier or i WOULD have called and screamed at him since it was his error to begin with......but i digress.)

I have a complete copy of all the p3 letters and stuff i sent in, a copy of the p4, originals and copies of all the stuff on the checklist. orignials and copies of all his tax returns for last 3 years, including the 1040 he just filed for 2009, and corresponding w2, as well as his pay stubs from Jan to now, since the letter from work is dated december only.

about 15 random pics of us and his family taken at valentines day, cdn thanksgiving, xmas.

copies of all trips itineraries etc since noa2 to now, medical, police cert, my envelope, passport pics. new letter of intent. i did one for each of us..not sure if we just needed his but it was easy enough to do a 2nd.

i feel like we are ready, and david will be there with me. already i'm having trouble sleeping though lol. Tomorrow morning we are leaving, should be in montreal early afternoon.
