Yeah..something is awry.

Its 11am here on the west coast, and is odd that not a single person posted an approval...especially when there seemed to be quite a few touches the last few days.

Who knows what they are doing.

Here's a few theories:

Maybe the person who takes the approved petitions and enters them into the system for an email spilled coffee on their keyboard.

Maybe they have been working 24 hours a day, and their sleep hours are now 2am - noon.

Maybe they are having their company picnic today.

Maybe they fired everyone yesterday and hired monkeys.

Maybe we're over reacting and they come out in big waves.

Holding tight....anxiously twitching away at my office desk with the rest of you!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, hiring monkeys is not a bad idea. Here in my office we refer to processing of routine applications as "monkey work". Nobody likes to do it becasue it's so boring. A monkey doesn't care! Just give him a rubber stamp and a bunch of bananas and turn him loose on that stack in the corner!!!

Honestly, wouldnt be surprised if our petitions were all over the floor of the ape compound at the San Diego Zoo. Its only an hour from CSC and probably a better place to get things done.

Fiancee and I get on skype (webcam and voice) daily

Thank god for skype, webcams and the internet. Can you even imagine going through this nightmare without the internet? We would all be freaking out in our own private worlds with zero information and nowhere to turn for help. We just recently got webcams (best money I've spent lately!) and it's a godsend.

Seeing all the recent approvals, I've now moved on to obsessing about how long it will take for our case to get to the consulate in Mexico and how long he will have to wait for his interview . . . never a peaceful moment for me!!!

This is lame.

So much for a day of hope.

May and June NOA1 approvals pouring out Tuesday and Wednesday, then a touch for us, then all activity stops from CSC.

Wow...

This makes no sense to me. Have they not heard of continuity? You never halt production, particularly if you are behind.

Here is also something to consider. In the news article I read about IMBRA and the RFE's, there were about 10,000 couples affected by this whole situation. We here on Visa Journey are just a small group sharing our pain and bringing comfort and humour to each other. Imagine all those that are not connected and what is going thru their minds....... CSC must be really cranking them out..... Ok, I am trying to think positive.......

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
