I went to Shoppers and asked them not to cut them at all. Standard CDN size is larger than US size. I got home and cut them 2x2 myself.

Wouldn't that be a bit weird though since the proportions are different? Can size is 50x70mm, US size is 50x50mm, so the head/face would be different sizes. My husband had both sets done today, and they seemed significantly different.

I ended up going to a local place.

Shoppers in my city doesnt do US style. Walmart was disgustingly expensive.

I ended up getting 2 for 13 bucks and they were guarenteed. He was so helpful and photoshopped out the glare on my glasses, since he couldn't get it perfect and he didnt want me to sit on the chair too long.

Maybe a local place has them cheap.

There were no problems at the consulate when I interviewed.

Costco is still the best and cheapest as far as I have experienced. 2"x2", 3 for medical and bringing 3 for Interview, some VJer's say they weren't even asked for them at the interview because we sent them prior with our paper work, but precautions are not a bad idea.

i got my passport photos done at shoppers drug mart today even though it took them 5 times! ridiculous! but there is no where around where i live that does them. anyway i just wondering if they need to have a stamp on the back of them or if they need to be signed by a guarantor? the lady at shoppers stamped one of them just incase but said i can go back if they all need to be stamped.

The teeny bopper training the grandma in the photo labo totally screwed them up... Some of them were not 2 by 2 AT ALL! Yes I got the tape measure out! LoL!

I jsut got my photos done at a Mom and Pop shop in the US when I visited. It was $5/pair and $12 for 6 photos... the more photos the cheaper.. not sure why.

Anywho, I know that doesn't help.. but don't rule out Mom and Pop shops in your area.
