You're on the money all different DO's.

However, the EAD and AP are in the NBC, both touched the same day.

Got the EAD, but No AP. AP is critical because my wife has to go back

to Canada the last week of August. Applied thinking we would have tons

of time, but alas we were wrong, hence the Infopass appt.

From the timeline statistics it looks like AP is currently taking about 10-15 days longer to process than EAD, so that would mean your AP would come any day now. Of course, nothing is guaranteed, so the Infopass is probably a good idea.

I just think you need to give it some more time. I know how frustrating it is to go for months and not hear anything. Just be happy you don't live in Orlando where they are currently taking 2 years to book interviews! Also, you should be happy that you are here with your spouse while doing all the waiting....alot of us waited 6-12 months in our home countries while a "K" visa was being processed.

Take a chill pill - you have your EAD card so what's the rush? Lots wait longet than a year! I was really excited to get my interview in less than a year, actually

I think I understand what your feeling is, I've been through a lot of this stuff before. Don't trust the page of processing time. Try to do something as my husband and I did, you have nothing to lose. If it's been over 120 days, I think it's time to write a letter to your congressman, try to choose a small office in your area. I don't think the infopass works for this matter, they probably may tell you and show you that page again, don't waste your time. In my opinion, you should write a letter to a small congressman office. We did it before, after only 4-5 days, we got one letter from our congressman, which informed us that he's been checking up on our case. A week after I received 2 mails from USCIS, which were EAD and the initial interview letter. And my husband and I went to the interview about one and a half month from that day, and got approved at spot. Try to do something, I understand everything, it's normal to feel like that, I used to have that feeling before because my friends finished their cases in two or three months only, I was so frastrated. Nothing's wrong to keep thinking about it. Good Luck!!!!

P.S. Our case might have been forgotten before, but we were persistent, and kept nagging them, they might have been thought that "It's enough", just issue us the interview letter so that we will not bother them again. Ha Ha Ha!!!!

Hey Canadalaura, I guess you are experiencing the joys of the Charleston office too huh? I am going to wait 2 more months (then it would have been 6 months since I filed) and if I haven’t heard anything from USCIS I will write to our congressman. The Charleston office isn’t even that busy – there are ALWAYS Infopass appointments available and it’s always quiet – they have no excuse for a backlog of almost 1 year.

It's the (s)lowcountry. Seriously, if you're not more than 90 days past the processing date, even your congressman can't really help, I don't think.

Charleston processing times jumped ahead for a bit - now they're back to the point where my filing date (August 30, 2005) isn't even 90 days past!

Perhaps, but being her is a priviledge, not a right. And as a non-citizen (not even a resident, at that!) I have zero say in US immigration policy!

Heh, being born a USC I have practically zero input on immigration policy.

There is no way I will wait 2-3 years without taking the situation further. My attempts at taking it further might not lead anywhere, but I will certainly raise it with the powers that be. If they tell me it will take even over 1 year I will request (via my congressman) that my case to be transferred to California. It is unacceptable for this process to take so long when other people are being approved in 2 months.

They may consider it a privilege for us to be here but if they are going to let us be here they need to respect us too. I have found one too many times that the government agencies treat non-us citizens as second class citizens. It’s unacceptable.
