I can't help but wonder what's up. Obviously we have to be patient, but soooo many applicants in our date range on here of the same marriage based AOS cases have either already :

1 received an interview date and are pending.

2 completed the interview and are pending name check

3 completed the interview, passport stamped and waiting on GC

4 Completed the interview, and rec'd the GC.

I called the WORTHLESS call center only to get the same BS they always shell out. Threw the 'going on vacation' line and managed to get to an immi officer who basically said, wait. I think the LUD's 2 days ago might lead to an interview appointment, but dammit - not having access to the real status/information is very frustrating.

Bah, just feeling the personal and financial pressures...

Carry on.

Here's a funny thing.

That Feb 06 processing is as of last week.

Two weeks before, they said Processing 485 was Nov 05.

They must be smokin crack and working 24/7 lmao.

I don't trust that page !!! hehe

Some people wait over a year to get an interview, I don't think you can feel too hard done by to not have an interview after 90 days. At least your have your EAD.

The average time from NOA1 to AOS approval right now is about 180 days, so you're still well within that time period. I'm sure that average has a large spread as well.

For sure, I'm just bitching because some people who submitted the same time as we did,

or even AFTER we did, have already completed their interviews. Did someone forget to

tell me to paperclip a crisp Frankin under the app to make it go faster?

---

Now that we got the EAD, and SS is applied for - we figure in the next month

my lovely lady will finally get to go to work here :) She's climbing the walls ! hehe

The AP is the biggest gripe, we need it latest the last week of August.

I thought for sure by now we would have that sent to us.

Checking the list of requirements to get it expedited thru infopass,

I doubt we'd meet any of there extreme hardship/humanitarian cases.

grrr

Still, going to make an infopass about the AP to see where it leads.

Well, you're not filing from K-1 like most here, so that might be the big difference.

Err.. OK. I wasn't aware there were that many people on here that didn't go through K-1 or some sort of "K" visa to get here. The fact is you filed I-130 that makes you a little different from 99% of the people on this website. If you have examples of people who also filed I-130 close to your time of filing fair enough.

Infopass scheduled for Aug 10 1PM.

Good luck with that.

I filed at the beginning of April, nearly 4 months have passed and not a peep with my AOS. Thankfully I got my EAD after 90 days (exactly 90 days) so I can at least work.

As everyone on here has said it is the not knowing that sucks the most…and the inconsistency.

Charleston, SC is currently processing cases from August 2005!!!! If that type of backlog doesn’t spur on a CSC transfer then what does!! I just wish I knew what was going on – much like everyone else. Seems those touches really do mean nothing.

Now I know why the American flag has all those red stripes (it’s actually red tape!)

AH Doc, I see your point.

I should say here and elsewhere :)

It blows my mind how someone can file in June,

and already have their GC in hand.

Thats the exception you understand, most

have the same or within a week notice date

as we do.

I'll post up some of the timelines I'm referring to.

One of the things that is a bit of an unknown quantity is how much concurrently filing I-130 and I-485 adds to the time. People who came here on K-1 visa's have already had the I-130 type part of the application approved and OKed. I've seen some people on here have had their I-130 approval come through after their AOS interview, but its not clear how this works. It doesn't help that neither the NBC or my local office has a processing timeline for I-130, so its not at all clear where I-130 would be processed when filed concurrently.

All in all, a bit of a grey area. ;)

I'll post up some of the timelines I'm referring to.

Mind you they are LUd, and RFE Acronyms same as mine, but you'll see my point.

Substitute NOA or Touch for the LUD dates.

PS that 130 is a gray little stinker.. but supposedly 130/485 should not affect 131/765 at all.

The I-130 is adjudicated on at the same time as the AOS in all cases where it is filed along with I-485.....

You can not compare timelines with people who are having interviews in a diffrent local office from you as they all have diffrent processing dates...

To wait only 90 days and expect to have your interview booked when your local office is working on cases from Feb 06 and you did not file until April 06 is a bit unrealistic....

Have patience it is worth waiting for...
