Mike! Where are you? My DS3032 (the one I sent on 02/05) got accepted. That means your must've as well.

Folks--what's Priority Date? I got an NVC email with my case number, category preference and priority date. My priority date is dated before my NOA1. It's confusing.

The priority date is the date they received the original I-130 application. Or any other application for that matter, since they use the priority date for all cases.

Deep--Support affidavits are affidavits written in support of your relationship that testify to the legitimacy of your relationship/marriage.

I have two from his parents, five from our college friends, two from my family and two from wedding guests.

Send in ORIGINAL or CERTIFIED copies. NOT notarized copies. What's the roadblock you've hit?

My road blocks are -

1. My wife's police clearance certificate to issue passport was lost in Jan, we are supposed to get passport end of January

- I was told by my family that it is all clear now, she went with the family members and had meeting with regional passport officer. She should get the PP in 7-10 days.

2. Untill she got the passport, there is no PassportOffice Clearance Certificate

- After passport, we will apply for PCC from passport office

3. There is no Police clearance certificate from local city.

- same time, we will apply for local police PCC.

#2 and #3 are parallel processing, BUT WE HAVE TO HAVE passport in our hand before we can apply 2 and 3.

She's getting a new passport? Then she'll need only ONE PCC. I don't remember which one but I'd check the requirements. How long does it take to get a passport? I got mine like in 2 days and that was way back in 1997.
