do I need to write down in the back of the picture that I am sending with the DS230 Form my name and date of birht??? or what else??

THANK YOU,,,also I read that you already have a social security number so do I,..in the form DS230 in the part 2 in the question 43a 43b do I put yes in all of them including where it says do you want that SSA assign a SSN and a card??? do I put NO... because I put yes in the one that says that if I want a replacement card ..I dont want a new number ??

Hi Sean,

I was thinking the same about the tax situation. Technically you can claim your wife IF you want to get her a TIN#. I decided not to claim my husband solely because he has never set foot in the US and I do not send him any money for support.

So because of that, I could still file HOH, which I have been doing before I got married. Because my husband does not have a SS# or TIN#.

I went ahead and had my taxes done so I could at least take a copy of my tax return, W2, 1099, 1098 all with me for the interview.

I marked YES to question 43a "Have you applied for a SSC?" and then I marked "NO" to the replacement card question as I already have one and do not require another one. Once I am there in the US, I will go to the SSA and have them update my card category.

So guys... an unexpected question maybe...

But what is the best way to delay our interviewdate?

I was hoping on delaying it until july maybe, but I would love to have submitted all my papers to NVC by april.

Is it possible to get in touch with the embassy and ask them to push back the interview a few months?

Any suggestions?

Have they updated the DS-3032 forms lately? I have a hard copy of the form with my wifes signature which I will be mailing it in once the DS-3032 is generated. The form I have has an expiration of DEC 31st 2009. I will be emailing it too.

Regarding my case I still havn't been able to get an upgrade after becoming USC. Don't know what's taking so long. I have been calling them and I keep getting the same response "Its in review". Loosing hope about getting through NVC in time for an April interview. So frustrating.

It should be fine... The barcoded 3032 they sent me had an expiry date of 2006

Me and my wife have just received our appointment for her interview in manila philippines on march 11, 2010. However all of the sudden when our case had closed they had informed me that my income indicated on the I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s). I sent them my IRS TDSC (transcript delivery system correspondence) stating that I had not filed in the past 3 years. Is this because I left the question blank perhaps? Should I have put I earned $0 from income tax? Because I have been going to school these past 3 years and my mother was supporting me during this period. Do I check that box stating i have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year? When I didn't even file for tax due to unemployent and being a full time student? I'm really lost pls help.
