If she is joint sponsoring on income/employment, then I'd say yes. I don't know--you could try sending it in with what you have.

If she is sponsoring based on her assets, then other financials like bank statement, etc.

IMO, your mom-in-law's stuff is more important because she is the one who is showing the support. Your wife's stuff is great but unfortunately, she isn't qualifying. Anyway she could get the employment letter tomorrow and ask her workplace to print out her last six months paystubs?

Anyway, this is my opinion. Maybe someone else more knowledgeable can chip in.

Did they ask for your Arabic Certificate also ? I am assuming you had sent them translation initially ? I would be sending a translation too - but now I am thinking may be I should send both the Original and the certified translation.

Any suggestions ?

Cheers sachi. That's what I thought... However I don't remember seeing pay stubs and/orletter of employment on the things to send. I could be very wrong though.

Its hard for her to get the letter because she is a teacher. I'll see what we can gather up ) congrats on your latest progress BTW

# of business days it takes:

4-7 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

2-4 days to receive emailed links after giving your email address to an operator.

2-3 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

7-9 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

2-3 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-10 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

I sent the Orignial and a copy of the ARABIC and ENGLISH. But they lost the arabic one so i had to send it again. If you have a certifed copy why not send it. The more the safer right?

Thanks, Mike. Hmm, I really don't know. You should be okay but with financials, it's hard to tell. Try and get it for the interview at least. You might get through NVC without a RFE. See if she can get her principal to print out a letter on the school's letterhead stating since when she's been working, her position, and her monthly/daily/annual pay. The employment letter and the paystubs are to ensure CURRENT ONGOING EMPLOYMENT, so, imo, it's important. Ask Christeen, she's super good with the AOS stuff.

Caliguy--Please fill in your timeline. And yes, you need to send in your original MC, no matter what language it is in. MQ had a RFE regarding that, I think.

Mike -- Also, if you need to, hold on to the AOS stuff. Send it in with the DS230. That way you save postage and a false RFE.

In the meantime, is your DS230 packet ready? Send that to your wife. So that she can send it in when the time comes.

Here's Christeen's time tested formula for NVC:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

I have 8 more days before I leave and 9 more days to be in my hubby's arms!!! I started to pack this past weekend but realized that there was too much stuff I was trying to pack but still needed!!!
