That's a bummer - did you request an expedite for NVC yet? Or are you back home now? Call and ask the status of your case - I found them very helpful.

Im back from kuwait...im in the PI right now with my wife. I did call and talk to them. they said to wait another 10-14 days and we should hear something :( I asked them if my case would do anything different since it was expedited through the USCIS and they said no. I think the 3032 should have been generated by now. I am half tempted to just have my wife e-mail the 3032 request and see what happens. I told them that people got their case numbers assigned after me already got their 3032...most of them got it within 3-5 days after getting the case number assigned. they just told me that each case is different.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

I know it's always advised NOT to pay your IV bill before NVC emails you requesting you to do so, but has anyone paid the bill once it was invoiced on the fee payment page? Any problem doing that?

when we received the email that our dS3032 was accepted, hubby logged in to the online payment site and then we found out that the IV bill was already available for payment, so he paid right away even before we received the generated IV bill email. The receipt was processed and everything went well.. the following day we received the generated IV bill but we just ignored it since we already paid it anyway.. 2 days after we paid, we received our DS230 coversheet.. :)

Scott--Unfortunately, in the case of expedites, it doesn't carry over from one entity to another. So, if you were expedited in USCIS, you might still have to go through the NVC stage unless you request ANOTHER expedite and that is granted. Good luck. Speak to someone at NVC.

Did they give you a list of your vaccinations Abbie?? That is one thing I told my husband to get. I don't want him to come to the US and he have to have all his vaccinations again.... :unsure::unsure:

$550 is a good deal huh? i called another agent and she told me there's gonna be a travel expo Feb 19th - 21st and that i will get good deals there. the $550 deal is good until Feb 14th only. now i am torn if i should get it or wait for the expo??? :cry::unsure::blink:

7 Days til i get to see my bay-bay

Hey I think anything under a thousand is a good deal for me!! :blush: but then I'd pay extra for no layovers in foreign land too!!!

Phew. I'd already sent the DS230 packet to my hubby and I saw four pictures required somewhere. I freaked out a bit.

Ok: So everyone 2 pictures for the DS230!

I checked with Delhi Embassy, it say 4, please double check.. :crying:

And I'm sending in 2 with the DS230. Those who sent in their DS230s already--how many passport size pictures did you send in? Can someone please confirm this for me? If required, I want to send more pictures to my husband ASAP.

We sent in 2 with the ds-230 and he had 5 more done, 3 for the medical and 2 to take to the interview just in case.... :blush:

Deep -- Send in your DS230 package if your IV bill is showing as paid. Print out the cover letter and go, go, go.
