I am confused on one thing. We received our emails tonight for the aos fee and the ds3032 form. I see people state they emailed that form in...Can my hubby sign that form and email it or does he have to snail mail the original form in?

We did both. He signed and scanned it into an email and I mailed the hard copy. You would think email would be quicker, especially since they list it as thier preferred method of communication. They accepted the paper copy a long time before the email. Other posters have said thier email was accepted the next day. So, you can do either or both. Since it really added only pennies to do both that's what we did.

Hey guys, my broadband was down for nearly 24 hours -- I went crazy. AAH.

But we did receive our emails yesterday at 5pm. AOS bill has been paid and DS3032 emailed. Will courier it on Monday!

Yaay, we're on our way! Can I get another hallelujah? :)

Have a good weekend, girls and boys.

Ooh you are getting closer to the end!

My husband made the AOS payment around 6pm on Friday evening. I know banks close around 4pm Friday so it might not have gone through! Right now, it is showing as NOT PAID. WHY? Shouldn't it say in-process? Or should I wait till Monday to see if the money was debited before paying again?

Mine didnt show as paid right away even after I could see money debited from my acct. I think it must be a lag in thier system.

Did it turn to IN PROCESS yet? I wouldn't pay twice until you've spoken with an operator. I'm trying to remember how ours went, but I don't think ours said IN PROCESS either. I think it went straight from NOT PAID to PAID over a holiday weekend. So keep checking.

I know eh? But what's nice about NVC is that you pretty much control your process. Like when you send papers in, and the payments. They're generally quite efficient in getting everything through quickly.

I wish you a quick fail. :)!!

Yeah i know...but i also have been told my another member, that we wont send the AOS and DS-230 to the NVC, it will just be taken to the embassy during the interview since we applied for expedited processing during the USCIS leg of the journey. I will call the NVC again and talk to an operator.

I think, but I'm not sure, that if you want it expedited at the NVC you'll have to request it there too. Not sure if the approved expedite request from USCIS "travels" with into the NVC.

Not sure though.
