you need the IIN to access your account when paying for your AOS and IV bills online. i see you have already been assigned your case number. call NVC and talk to an operator and give them your email addresses (both applicant and petitioner). they will email you the instructions/letters. your IIN will be there :)

I echo that

Alright, thanks, AbbieJeremy--I'll be calling tomorrow as soon as NVC opens to give them our email addresses.

I have another question -- Once the I-864 bill is paid, can you use that cover sheet to send out the package OR do you have to wait for NVC to send you anything? On a couple of timelinesm I see "AOS bill paid, I-864 package received" -- what's the received? NVC received your I864 packet or you received something that NVC sent? Sorry, this is confusing me.

once the bill shows PAID it will highlight "print document coversheet", and there will be a link that says "Go to the Affidavit of Support Processing Instructions" and that's your AOS package right there you can print the coversheet and send your docs but be sure to check out the link first( just to double check and make sure you have everything)

Once you call and give them your email addresses of both the Petitioner and Beneficiary, things will be sent to you via email (much faster).

You will beable to go to the NVC website to pay for the AOS fee online. Once this is paid you will see that a cover letter will beable to be printed out and mailed in with the associated packets they are asking for ie..I-864 and the IV packet (ds-230).

Where the snafu come into place though, you will beable to pay for each different thing (AOS, IV bill) and the cover letter will be available, BUT WAIT to send in the packets until you get the emails ASKING for them. Meaning, just because the cover letters are available to print out DOES NOT mean they are ready for you to mail the paperwork in.

Sometimes the website is quicker than the NVC has time to update your case. There has been people in the past who mailed in the packets before they ask for them and they have had to call and get it straightened out with an OP.

I hope I didn't confuse you more.... :unsure::unsure:

In this case, I should also wait for the email for sending I864 form.

I only have the document cover sheet BUT no email from NVC asking for I864.

It's february tomorrow so I'll check in here with you guys now!

Can't wait for my DS-3032 to get accepted and have our AOS paymentstatus changed to paid!

It's like I have less patience now, after only being at NVC for a few days, then when we were at USCIS for months!

Just can't wait to keep going now when we finally got somewhere.

Take care guys!

Ok, so don't pay anything till you get the email requesting you to make the payment--I get that part.

But once it's paid and the cover sheet is available--why can't we send that in then? It would take at least a day or two for it to reach NVC in any case.

MsS--This is from your timeline. What's on January 8--receiving I-864 package--does the NVC send us something? This is what I'm wondering.

01-06-2010 : Pay I-864 Bill (I get that)

01-08-2010 : Receive I-864 Package (?)--Is this when the coversheet you mentioned before became available?

01-09-2010 : Return Completed I-864 (I get this).

Anyone?

the I-864 package is actually a link on the instructions about the I-864 and the form itself.. and yes it's when the AOS coversheet becomes available and that is when your AOS payment status shows "paid" on the NVC online payment system..

i have some missing document with my form ds 230 , and i send them to NVC, i thing fed ex will delivery those document

on February 5 , so once those missing document are received by NVC, what you people thing how long time will take to NVC to review my case.

First time when NVC receive form DS 230 was on January 14, than 11 days later on January 25 there was AVR about missing or incomplete document.

So will this time be fast like first time? You opinion?

Thanks, Osen.

Now, regarding the hard copy of the DS 3032--can I just use one off the internet and input our case number on it? Or is there a separate barcoded .pdf form sent via the email?

My DS 230 package should be reaching my husband in MI tomorrow/Tuesday so that he can send that in when required.

Arnell--7-10 days for a case complete after they've reviewed ALL the documentation.

All: What's the timeline for the DS-3032 to be accepted currently?

Looks like 2 days for NVC to email you the AOS/DS 3032 once you've given them the email IDs.

the I-864 package is actually a link on the instructions about the I-864 and the form itself..

Do we have to use THAT specific form or will one d/l off the net work?
