NVC Febuary 2010 Edition!

Called NVC and the operator said to just monitor if the AOS payments posts in my bank account within the next 2-3 business days. She said its unusual considering the payment was just sent 13 hours ago and there's no way my bank would process/deny the payment that quick (and I agree because I work in a bank, ACH payment at least takes a full business day, or normally 2-3 days before its processed).

Seems odd for sure. Ill keep you guys updated.

Q - Is it possible that IV payment is available BUT never received email from NVC that DS3032 is accepted?

I saw my IV bill available today... BUT never have an email for Choice of Agent got accepted.

same thing happened to me. But when i called the AVR, it said the DS3032 was accepted but i never got an email from NVC

Usually, when the IV bill is generated, it means that the DS3032 has been accepted. Call NVC and check. Do NOT pay your IV fee bill until you get the email from NVC asking you to pay it. This WILL create problems if you pay before the email is generated.

lmao no you can cancel it. But i payed mine before they asked me too and it was accepted let next day.

Usually, when the IV bill is generated, it means that the DS3032 has been accepted. Call NVC and check. Do NOT pay your IV fee bill until you get the email from NVC asking you to pay it. This WILL create problems if you pay before the email is generated.

Well... you may be lucky... check out my timeline... I did the same thing... what will happen (if you're unlucky) is that the even though the funds have been withdrawn from your bank, the website will continue to show NOT PAID. Call NVC and they'll put you through a supervisor review (14 or 15 business days). You can still send in your DS 230, but make sure you show them proof (A bank statement or something) that the funds have been withdrawn from your account so that they'll review your DS230 and accompanying documents.

I've read it somewhere on VJ that payments for NVC are handled by a third party (hence the option to pay now) and if you pay before the bill is generated in NVC's system, it's equivalent to paying for something that doesn't exist in NVC's system...

I knew it!!! told you so!!! CONGRATS!! And dont worry i paied my IV bill the same day the ds-3032 got accepted and the iv bill generated. And the next morning it said as paid

No, im gonna go visit him in a couple of weeks i think, but im not going for the interview, IM not good under pressure. lol the most easy question i will mess up if they asked me "what is your name" Ill be like "um...um....i dont remeber" lol

A payment status of IN PROCESS means the transaction is still being processed. A payment status other than PAID indicates that the Department of State has not received the funds.

Payment rejected? Is this a standard status until the payment is received? Or should I send re-do my payment?

That happened to me also. It was my fault becasue I tranposed the numbers on the routing number of my bank account..AND because it was tranposed numbers, it never made it to my bank account. So I would say you are safe enough to REPAY the AOS fee!!! Trust me, I lost like a week because I waited. In fact the 2nd time I paid it, it was deducted by the end of the same day from my account!!!!

I finally got to see all of the funny smileys last night!!! I had to wait until I got home to see them all....

Even if you did put a smiley on your ds-3032 form they might not have seen it!!! There are only a couple of smileys I could actually see at work...
