You know, first Sachinky's RFE, now your money down the drain and delay in receipt of your packages. I'm really trying to keep a level head in all this. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel for us soon...

This will be a long weekend for us all. Lets just breathe, stay positive and hit it hard again Monday morning. I want the snow to stop back east, NVC to get rolling and all of our delays to CEASE.

My drama- Troy's bus from Kingston to Negril broke down and after 12 hours on the road and 23 hours no sleep, he is sittin on the side of the road hoping they send another bus so he can get to work in time. On top of that, his phone died. Im worried and frusterated about all of this.

:crying:

Thats terrible!!

I hope you hear from him soon.

You are right about the light at the end of the tunnel. March will be OUR month!!

Till then, keep up the faith fellow VJers...

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

@ Esteralla : This is the information I got for the redelivery policy for the USPS express mails

Redelivery General Information

· Policies for Different Types of Mail

o Express Mail®:

§ If the letter carrier cannot deliver the item, they will leave a PS Form 3849, Delivery Attempt Notice (there are no automatic redelivery attempts made after the first attempt for Express Mail). If the customer does not schedule a Redelivery or does not visit their local Post Office™ to retrieve the item, a second PS Form 3849 will be left on the 3rd calendar day after the initial attempt.

§ If you do not pick up the item from the item from the Post Office or schedule a Redelivery by the close of business five (5) calendar days from the first attempted delivery, the Express Mail item will be returned to the sender.

I know Fedex or other courier services attempt an automatic redelivery the next business day.

I am sure J. Desmond and NVC has a policy in place to handle these situations.

birth certificate

passport biographic page

naturalization certificate

I can't think of any other doc that would prove US citizenship....

if she was born in US...it shouldn't be hard to get a birth certificate but you never know ...the bureaucratic way may take time

I REALLY HOPE THAT THEY HAVE A BACK UP PLAN FOR THIS SITUATION..THEY FOR SURE MUST KNOWN THE AMOUNT OF MAILS THEY RECEIVE PER DAY AND WHAT TO DO WHEN THEY CLOSE THEIR OFFICE IN THIS SITUATION..I AM GETTING CRAZY..WE WILL CALL FIRST HOUR ON MONDAY TO SPEAK TO AN OPERATOR TO SEE IF THEY CAN PICK UP ON MONDAY..
