Thanks for all your support, guys. You're all very sweet. I'm just down in the dumps but I'm trying hard not to be. Maybe the email/mail will come soon? Who knows.

Gina--From your email it looks like there was something on your husband's police certificate. Maybe they want the court records for that? They're sticklers for stuff like that.

Sucks about the storm and power outage and stuff. Who knows--they MIGHT extend scheduling for a couple of days extra because of the days off and February being a short month and all.

Yeah this whole storm thing has really taken the wind out of my sails. I was so happy about how things were going so far, and almost giddy all week. Now, nothing. Down in the dumps.

If they are closed today, you might not get a receipt until Monday, but fingers crossed! Lets keep the docs safe in a truck somewhere. I worry about all our docs in transit during this wicked storm. Lets all pray it passes soon and that all the NVC staff come back to work Monday chipper and eager to catch up on all their files!!!

You know, I think that it depends on the business. I know at my firm, our Fedex delivery ppl know not to deliver saturday docs since our office is closed and all packages must be signed for. I assume NVC operates the same way, so no one to sign they wont deliver. But thats a good thing, better to actually have it stay with the delivery company until a live person can sign IMO.

So will they just attempt to redeliver under the circumstances Estrella or do you have to call and ASK them to attempt again? You think they would kno that the place is closed, try again Monday.

I called my husband He should call today just to request the redelivery for Monday...I dont think that people of NVC will go to pick it up or they will know that the place is closed..grhhhh

Questions:

I'm looking at my Wife's W2 and it has 3 tear-away parts. Can I tear off copy C (Employees records) and just send that? Or does it have to be the whole damn lot?

She only has tax records for 2007

So, i'm sending a letter of employment, 2007 tax transcript and 2009 W2 as well as 6 pay stubs

Plus the joint sponsors stuff which is more
