NM, answered my own question about the AVS. It has been a while since I read the shortcuts.

JUST PRAY THAT THEY DONT MISPLACED ANY OF YOUR DOCUMENTS..WHEN YOU WRITE THE CASE NUMBER IN THE DOCS IF TO PREVENT THAT IF THEY MISPLACED THEY CAN PUT IT IN THE CORRECT FILE..

I think the situation there is pretty bad.

Not only the NVC is closed but everywhere. I think the mail is not working today as well.

Check the news:

Just catching up here...That sucks!!!!!!! I'm sorry :( :( HOpefully you get the RFE info quickly and can send it right back..>!

Yep. Using the payment portal. So as soon as I can print the coversheet - I can send in the 864? Wish the stupid 3032 would be accepted. How do I find out about that? Husband gets an email right??

They will reply to our e-mail telling that they accepted our agent of choice. I think it'd be better to wait till they accept the choice of agent we sent first, before sending the package to them. You can take a look at my time line, we got their response 7 days after we sent our e-mail.

No offense, but would it be better if we didn't add more stories about the storm to this thread? I know it's not making me feel any better about the situation. It is what it is, and all we can do is wait and see when things get back on track.

Let's all try to stay positive!

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I just thought people would like to know what's going on over there.

I apologize if I was inconvenient.

I actually had no idea about the situation in NH! I knew about the storm. I know everyone is frusterated, its good to be informed tho. Im a realist to my detriment. So I appreciate your link on the storm. It might push us all back a few days depending on good ole mother nature, but perhaps it only means that April interviews wont dissappear so fast either. We may all see a silver lining in this! February was a short month, this storm will put things back a bit and it may actually BENEFIT those who are wishing for a complete case more quickly.

I am so happy I found this thread. We will all be good friends in the March thread as well. Lets vent here, share here, cry here, inform here, boost here and keep us all afloat. If not us, who can we relate to!

Sachinky~ ((((SMILE)))) and breath my good friend. I am confident this RFE is a minor one. What a week you guys. What is everyones plan for the weekend? We need to find SOMETHING to occupy our time.

Its funny, but knowing all of our stories and timelines, I am beginning to be passionate about everyones circumstances and situation! I feel like Im getting to know each of you and every detail about our individual journeys is becoming important to me! We are not alone.

Next week is a new week. Lets put this one to rest and keep our eyes on the prize ladies and gents.

Thanks for all your support, guys. You're all very sweet. I'm just down in the dumps but I'm trying hard not to be. Maybe the email/mail will come soon? Who knows.

Gina--From your email it looks like there was something on your husband's police certificate. Maybe they want the court records for that? They're sticklers for stuff like that.

Sucks about the storm and power outage and stuff. Who knows--they MIGHT extend scheduling for a couple of days extra because of the days off and February being a short month and all.

I just got off the phone with my husband who has been on a sweaty bus since 4am and another 3 hours to go from Kingston to Negril. Police cert received and he Fedexed it, his original BC and his PP pics and copy of BIO page on his passport to me. I told him about the storm in NH and he immediately said "Hey! Thats a good thing, this will delay things a bit "since February is a short month and they will hustle and want to accomdate for the lost time" I think if HE can see this as a glass full situation then we are all good! Usually, hes the doomsday-er so I am encouraged by his bright side analogy.

No dumps to be down in Sachinky! We are in this together and at least we can all say that our marriages will last considering the effort and trials we have all gone through JUST to be with the one we love. :wow:
