Update on my case:

AVR updated to "The NVC is awaiting the Biographic Forms from the Beneficiary. After sending the forms, please wait 6-8 weeks to find out the outcome of the review". I am guessing this means they are waiting for the DS-230 packet. And to think that they received it on the 23rd and its still floating around in their stupid mailroom somewhere is driving me NUTS!

Get your AS* off the chair and go get the DAM* packet yourself you lazy ASSE*.

ARRGGHHHHHHHHH

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

If you go to the portal page you will see that IV bill fee is there but showing 'not invoiced'. As soon as they accept your ds3032 it changes to "ready to pay" (or something like that don't remember the wording).

Then you just need to pay and wait until it shows paid (about 1-2 days). Print the barcoded sheet to your ds230 and send it off to NVC.

(husband also gets an email saying his ds3032 was accepted).

About the I-864 yes, as soon as you print the cover sheet you can mail it to NVC.

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification!!! :) Appreciate the help. :) :)

HAMPTON, N.H. – An unceasing winter storm unleashed multiple dangers across the Northeast on Friday, blasting the coast with hurricane-force winds that fanned a New Hampshire hotel fire, flooding parts of Maine, dropping 2 feet of snow on parts of New York, and cutting power to at least 700,000 homes and businesses.

Power failures were so bad in New Hampshire that even the state Emergency Operations Center was operating on a generator.

The highest wind reported was 91 mph in Portsmouth, N.H. — well above hurricane force of 74 mph. Gusts hit 60 mph or more from New York's Long Island to Massachusetts.

Looks like we're in for a wait here folks, not good guys, not good...

"NVC is closed today, February 26, due to power outages. No customer service operators are available."

Sachi- F*** F*** F***F *** F** Sorry VJers, anger here is unaviodable!! ####### ####### #######! Well, we really are fricken identical timelines aren't we! S***

So here's what's happened FOR ME, see if it helps. The AVR was updated first, I called immediately, the 1st lady was the most helpful. She said she couldn't find "exactly" what the problem was with, something about nature of conviction and papers needing "an official seal". That I would have to wait for email RFE. I told her we sent everything, she said she would have a supervisor look into it. Thought about it, called my husband, he reminded me about the police certificate possible problem, I though "nature of conviction" referred to a drunk driving fine he had 10 yrs ago-=totally confused and helpless. Next day called back, guy said he didn't know anything, need to wait for the email. Called back Thurs at noon and guys said, supervisor reviewing, should get email that night or fri morning Cali time. Got it to me, hubby and lawyer all one hour later. Sachi, I copied it a few pages back in the forum, you can go look at it. It is the "Checklist", but completely vague, didn't help explain anything, but did have the barcode. Called my lawyer immediately and said ####### does this mean, this doesn't tell me anything? He said the emails aren't secure, so they send the barcode there, but the snail mail letter has the detail of the exact problems they need fixed. The second sentence about needing the "official seal" is standard. So he said we wait and see what the fricken snail mail RFE says. Then OF COURSE I called NVC again and they didn't know sh** and said wait for the letter in the mail. They kept saying they can't "see" the RFE, just the vague description that was in the email RFE. This has been my experience so far. Just called AVR and it updated to "a letter was mailed out Feb 25th detailing the missing/incomplete information", so with ANY luck at all I may get it Saturday or Monday to find out what needs to be fixed. I just wished they had the RFE detailed in the email, but FOR ME it wasn't.

So just hope your email is more complete than mine, I have to wait for the snail mail letter.

Sorry if I rambled, I just wanted to get my info out to see if it helps at all : ( SOOOOO SORRY GIRL!! Just hope your email has the details and if you can fix it quickly and overnight it, we MAY not be out of the March scheduling : ( F*** F***F***

PM me if I can do anything.

That's just great! :crying:

In parts of southern and mid-coastal Maine more than 3 inches of rain had fallen and forecasters say some areas could get more than 7 inches. The Presumpscot River in Westbrook was expected to crest at 9 feet over flood stage by Friday afternoon. The river in the flood-prone New Hampshire town of Goffstown was nearing flood stage and residents were told to prepare for possible evacuation.
