So just trying to figure out this mystery, exactly what they have problems with....supervisor at NVC looking into case. I was told to call NVC back in a few days(in my world that is tomorrow!).

It seems every time I have inquired at NVC, something happens, FYI. I called this morning and asked where my email was, and it came 2 hours later. Hhhhmmmmm, persistence pays off. Don't they KNOW that's how we VJers roll??

I totally agree with you!! Everytime I call them something happens with my case... ie I called and wanted to make sure they had my emails <for the 2nd time> and within 10 mins I had them, I called to see if they had accepted my DS-3032, within 30 mins I had the email... It might be a coincedence.. But hell... I believe in pestering the ###### out of someone until I get my way Might be because I am the only girl with 4 brothers!... its just how I roll!!

ok, just mailed the hard copy of the DS-3032 to be on the safe side.... Now just to clarify I cant mail the AOS package until the IV bill is generated/ DS-3032 has been accepted.. and when I do this is what I will include in it:

PRIMARY SPONSOR:

*Barcode cover sheet

* Cover Letter <listing everything in packet>

* I-864

* Copy of BC & SS card attached with letter stating why the name is different <Melodie/Melody>

* Tax Transcripts <09,08,& 07>

* Employment Letter

* 1 year pay stubs <originals? or copies ok?should I only send in 6 months?>

* 1 year of Bank Statements <with the total monthly deposits Higlighted and the total for the year printed out>

* Certified Copy of Court Decree of Child Support Withholdings <its being garnished out of ex's check>

* State issued EEPICard Statments showing Child Support being deposited <6 months>

CO-SPONSOR:

* I-864

* copy of BC

* 1099 for 09 <he is retired so he doesnt get a W2>

* Print out from Turbo Tax (09, 08, 07)

* copy of pay stubs <have 1 year, but think I will only send 6 month>

Am I missing anything? I am going to put everything in this order.. unless otherwise directed.... I make $36,000 and I really dont think I need a co-sponser, but I have included one just incase they wont use the Court Ordered Child Support.

Anyone? I am planning on sending this tomorrow... plz check it to make sure I have thought of everything, also do you think I should send the original Certified Copy of the Decree of withholding <childsupport> or just make a copy of it? Also, when I am sending in my co-sponsors BC, do I send the original or a copy?

They didn't send us any email saying they accepted our DS-3032. I am waiting for my hubby to send me the signed DS-3032 so I can mail it. He also sent a scan version via email. Hopefully we will hear from them soon.

Are you paying online, using the online payment portal?

That's the BEST WAY to know 'what to do next'.

Got our emails!!! Paid the AOS $70 and resent the 3032...Hopefully they count the first one! :)

Very Cool ! If yer paying online - remember - the portal UPDATES its data every day, at 3 PM and 10 PM , EST - so check in at 3:05 and 10:05, each day. Usually though - it's 1 to 3 days to 'update' - needs at least 1 day to snag it via ACH from yer bank. IMO, the updates on the portal are as close to 'real-time-update' as yer gonna get.

I was printing out my cover letter and a statement from me tonight to include in the AOS package... and... well i thought I would proof read them "1" more time... and OMG I had the wrong NVC case number on there.... It was off by 1 number.... WOW and I call myself being ####### about it... I am glad that I looked at it.

I Do have a question, I had read earlier where ppl are printing there case number on the top right corner of all the documents... is this done on the I-864 also, or just all the supporting documents?

Melody, I spent some time today writing the case number on every single piece of paper that I plan on sending them. Maybe it's too much, but I'm okay with that.
