Mike--My stuff was inputted into the AVR on the 18th. For some reason, only the DS230 was inputted and they said they were waiting for the AOS to be sent in which freaked me out a fair bit as both of the packages went together. I spoke to an operator, she was very nice and said the AOS was inputted on the 22nd and is currently under review. I think that last week kind of screwed them up. Barring any unforeseen RFEs, the "case complete" should happen soon, by Monday, I think. So fingers crossed. :)

Estrella--Woohoo! +1 to the list of waiting!

Melody--Your IV bill will be available to pay soon! Maybe, Monday!

Oh my gosh, fingers crossed, fingers crossed!! Please call NVC again Friday before the closed for me to check your status : ) : )

She already had our e-mails. Maybe from the cover letter I sent with the I-130? Either way, this makes me very happy! Hubby will be happy, too, tomorrow. I vow this will be the only visa-related thing we talk about tomorrow.

HA!!!! I wish you the best of luck!! : )

Gina have you checked if your package is not stuck with customs? It happened to me once on an international shippment for some documents (unrelated to visa). I was suprised that documents went through a random customs screen. You should probably call the courier agent and find out. It seems unreasonable that snow will cause so much delay.

MrsW--Thankyou. Yes, I did attend college in the U.S. for four years on a F-1. But I also attended a fine English-medium school in Calcutta while growing up so don't think those dang Americans are responsible for my English language skills. :) Seriously, my husband can't spell.

This reminds me of the time I was in the health center for an infection. The nurse remarked, "Wow, you speak English so well!" So I grinned at her and said, "Shockingly enough, so do you!" Then we had a right laugh about it.
