Just to make sure we are not forgetting anything:

Sponsor's package:

• Cover letter

• I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)

• Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

• 2009 Federal Tax Return, W2, 1099DIV, 1099INT.

• 2008 Tax transcripts, W2, 1099DIV, 1099INT.

• 2007 Tax transcripts, W2, 1099DIV, 1099INT.

• Bank statement and financial holding statement.

DS230 package:

- Cover letter

- DS-230 Coversheet (with barcode)

- Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s full name, and date of birth are written on back of both).

- DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary.

- DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions.

- Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page of Beneficiary’s Passport.

- Original Birth Certificate of beneficiary (with an attested translation provided) and a copy.

- Original Marriage Certificate beneficiary (with an attested translation provided) and a copy.

- Original Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary and a copy.

- Original Police Clearance Certificate and a copy.

Dawn--Weird. Call 'em I say. Say the AVR says it's been updated but I've not received the emails yet.

SJ--I think they're talking about DS230 generation. Don't freak out about a RFE yet. You just sent in your package yesterday. They're not THAT quick.

Darnell--Seriously? I thought it had to be USD. I do have a US bank account so could I move my Indian funds there and then show it?

So I called. They said they got our email addresses the same day they sent them via mail - so they never sent the emails - just mailed them(which we haven't received either). How frustrating!!! They said they will resend the emails but it could take 2 weeks. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

if she is sending the forms of W2 the employment letter and paystub is optional... if she send only the transcrip then she must send all the optional stuff

Ooooo, ok, thanks. I wasn't 100% sure myself. I'm still working on my packet. So if I mail the W2's and the tax forms not the transcripts I won't need to mail the employment letter and check stubs?

email is done in batches - never in real time (sorry ).

USUALLY the email goes out with 24 to 48 hours IF the first BILL is ready to be paid.

I had recommended (to anyone) to wait 2 weeks after the NOA-2 date - then get busy at NVC.

ok, just mailed the hard copy of the DS-3032 to be on the safe side.... Now just to clarify I cant mail the AOS package until the IV bill is generated/ DS-3032 has been accepted.. and when I do this is what I will include in it:

PRIMARY SPONSOR:

*Barcode cover sheet

* Cover Letter <listing everything in packet>

* I-864

* Copy of BC & SS card attached with letter stating why the name is different <Melodie/Melody>

* Tax Transcripts <09,08,& 07>

* Employment Letter

* 1 year pay stubs <originals? or copies ok?should I only send in 6 months?>

* 1 year of Bank Statements <with the total monthly deposits Higlighted and the total for the year printed out>

* Certified Copy of Court Decree of Child Support Withholdings <its being garnished out of ex's check>

* State issued EEPICard Statments showing Child Support being deposited <6 months>

* Original/Certified Divorce Decree <do I send this now or with the DS-230?>

CO-SPONSOR:

* I-864

* copy of BC

* Tax Transcripts <09,08, &07>

* copy of pay stubs <have 1 year, but think I will only send 6 month>

Am I missing anything? I am going to put everything in this order.. unless otherwise directed.... I make $36,000 and I really dont think I need a co-sponser, but I have included one just incase they wont use the Court Ordered Child Support.

if you feel that you need to send an employment letter and paystub and you can do it DO IT.. all cases are different.. sometimes they say OPTIONAL MAY HELP and then they send a RFE because or You send the optionasl or You did not..

No - you can MAIL the AOS package when the 'paid notice' is available on the payment portal for the AOS bill.

Why was your address listed on your DS3032? Did you appoint yourself as agent?
