sachi: no the payment of the IV bill has not cleared yet, the AOS fee was cleared last night..we paid around 11.45 am yesterday the IV bill perhaps tonight will be cleared..finger crossed

Interviews are mostly scheduled around the second week of the month. So it'll be March 8-12. Yes, it depends on the consulate's availability and how much is it backlogged. Some consulates do assign interview dates on the last week of the month so some might even get dates this week.

So, AFTER a sign in fail. THEN WHAT? how many days before they assign an interview, or is that up to the dumb embassy of whatever country were at.

After a failed sign in, wait until NVC schedules an interview date. They'll say they do this on the second week of every month for the following month, but people have reported to have received their interview dates sooner. It also depends on the embassy where your interview will take place and how backed up they are. Unless your country has terrible backlogs, then you should be fine and receive an interview date approximately a month after a failed sign in. Good luck :thumbs:

Ok! That makes sense. I think I will just miss the mark then. Our file wont be complete (and this is hoping no RFE's) until next week and I doubt the NVC will even mark it as done until the second week of March. Darn it! I really want an April interview.

yay! got the noa2 hardcopy and my itin number today. only took 3 days to get the hardcopy in the mail. i hope all goes fast.

06-04-10 : POE NYC...no delays or problems.

3/30/12 I-751 filed and sent to USCIS CA Service Center

4/3/12 NOA1

5/30/12 Biometrics completed Santa Rosa, CA early walk-in without problem

10/11/12 Green Card approved

I feel like a schmuck.. I could have TOTALLY been more prepared and have had my husband get his police cert a month ago. If I would have just paid more attention and been more prepared, we'd be done and waiting. This two week delay is my fault and I could just kick myself! :bonk:
